No, what he is proposing is another amnesty program.
Let's not forget that we've had 7, yes 7, amnesty programs since 1986.
Obviously these programs have worked flawlessly in stopping illegal immigration.
If the President came out and touted this amnesty program AFTER A WALL WAS BUILT, his approval numbers would rise to over 55%

Boycott Exxon. Yep, that'll do it!
Can these people be any more stupid? Or is this what we should expect from our government school systems?
http://www.mysanantonio.com/business/stories/MYSA042606.01A.gas_boycott.a7f4954.html
The guy these people are upset with worked for Exxon for 12 years and has a compensation package that is tied to the company's profits. The company doubles in value so the guy gets paid. Why should anyone give a $hit?
The curious angle is that I will bet you these idiot protesters have pensions, retirement funds, IRAs etc etc that have Exxon in their portfolios and have profited handsomely from Exxon being run profitably.
WOAH wait a minute! What was I thinking! Those protesters aren't that smart! They're probably depending on Social Security for retirement.
Now if you are going to boycott an oil company, why not boycott CITGO which is owned by the Venezuelan government, a socialist country that is no friend of the US and is well on its way to being another Cuba.

Does President Bush have.................
an ounce of credibility left???
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,192968,00.html
This is the kind of pandering I expect from LibDem politicians.
Something tells me this President has "given up and thrown in the towel"
He has no respect from his party and has basically told conservatives, that have loyally stuck with him for 6 years, to take a hike.
President Bush had the makings of a great President and due to his lack of leadership within his own party, he's squandered it all.
Like father like son.

?????????????
BUSH ON ILLEGALS: 'Massive deportation of the people here is unrealistic. It's just not going to work'...
What is he talking about??
Who is asking for "massive deportation"??
What people are clamoring for is a realistic immigration policy that stops illegal immigration.
What's so hard to understand Mr. President?

Tiger gets a "hall-spaz"
After finishing his Sunday round at the Masters, Tiger was interviewed an said: "I was so in control from tee to green, the best I've played for years... But as soon as I got on the green I was a spaz."
Most people let the comment go however the "easily and often offended" had a wee-little tiny fit. So what did the press do?
The BBC says: "Tiger Woods used the word in a live TV interview. An article on Tuesday in online newspaper The Age tracked the reporting of Woods comments and found that spaz was edited out of subsequent news packages. They also say that an LA Times reporter got Tiger to re-word his sentence replacing spaz with wreck so he could report it with no problems."
"So he could report it with no problem!!!!" Now isn't that nice!
Hey, I love Tiger, I just wonder how Fuzzy Zoeller feels about this?
Why wasn't the press so accommodating when Fuzzy made the stupid watermelon and chicken comment that literally got him crucified by the press and almost banished from golf?
Screw Fuzzy, but let's give Tiger a hall-spaz.
MSM bias? What bias!

KRAUTHAMMER NAILS IT!
The only common-sense writing on the illegal invasion.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/04/06/AR2006040601380.html
"This is no time for mushy compromise. A solution requires two acts of national will: the ugly act of putting up a fence and the supremely generous act of absorbing as ultimately full citizens those who broke our laws to come to America."
A tip of the hat to Murali.

CRIME PAYS!!!
I'm looking at the latest news coming out of Congress about the "deal" on illegal "immigration" and I've come to the conclusion that the leadership of this country has lost it's mind.
Since 1986 Congress has passed SEVEN laws, all designed to let illegals assimilate into American society.
·The 1986 Immigration and Reform Control Act gave amnesty to approx. 2.9 million illegal aliens.
·1994: The "Section 245(i)" which rolled-back amnesty for 578,000 illegal aliens
·1997: Extension of the Section 245(i) amnesty
·1997: The Nicaraguan Adjustment and Central American Relief Act for nearly one million illegal aliens from Central America
·1998: The Haitian Refugee Immigration Fairness Act amnesty for 125,000 illegal aliens from Haiti
·2000: Extension of amnesty for some 400,000 illegal aliens who claimed eligibility under the 1986 act
·2000: The Legal Immigration Family Equity Act, which included a restoration of the rolling Section 245(i) amnesty for 900,000 illegal aliens.
Have these laws worked? NO! So what does our Congress do? Pass another law and claim victory.
The real victors are the thousand that marched in the streets of our cities, thumbed their noses at our laws, and placed the Mexican flag above our own. Those are the victors.
I guess that by 2010, Congress will pass another law for the 23 million illegals that will then be in the US
Yeah, that will finally fix it!
