W stands for WIMP!

I use to remember when Pres. George H. Bush was called a wimp. Newsweek even ran a cover about 'the wimp factor' Remember?
There was little in his background that would suggest that he was. I guess because he was a bit soft-spoken and because the LibDems and their minions in the MSM love to trash anyone that doesn't worship at their altar, the name stuck.
We now come to his son, W.
If there was ever a President that should be called wimp, it's this guy!
For 6 freakin years this idiot has been setting a 'new tone'. For 6 years this guy has been 'playing nice' with every Liberal bloodsucker in Washington. For 6 years W has been getting punched-out, stabbed in the back, and slapped around by everyone of his little playmates!
Now, I can certainly understand when a President gets kicked around, after all, he is a big target. But when the kicking is being done by a morally bankrupt, philosophically deficient, lying weasel crowd, and you don't fight back......................you're a WIMP!
We now come to the latest Wimp episode, Alberto Gonzalez and the firing of 8 US attorneys.
Does anyone, for one minute think that Senor Alberto fired those guys all by himself? No! Hell no! Alberto had his marching order and they didn't come from Hugo Chavez.
Meanwhile, what do we hear from the White House? We hear that the President is 'disturbed' by the events that took place. Disturbed? What the f*ck does that mean?
I get 'disturbed' when I get served a warm beer or my cigar goes out.
W gets 'disturbed' when a cabinet member follows orders, but W turns the other cheek when he's called a liar, and a Nazi.
W gets 'disturbed' at Alberto when the LibDems claim the firing of the 8 attorneys was 'political' and because politics and the law shouldn't mix.
"Paging.... Robert Bork" "Paging..... Justice Thomas"
I don't know about you, but I have hoped for the day that W would 'grow a pair'
I'm done hoping.
UPDATE:
Former House Republican Leader Tom DeLay had said earlier Tuesday that the scandal "is just a taste of what's going to be like for the next two years." (And whose fault is that?)
"And the Bush administration sort of showed their weakness (lack of balls) when they got rid of Don Rumsfeld," the Texan said on NBC's "Today" show. "... This is a made up scandal. There is no evidence of wrongdoing whatsoever. ... They ought to be fighting back." Fight back! Why would they start now?

SCOOTER

Just a couple of thoughts.
While being questioned by the FBI, you are asked if last year you had lunch with Rove. You answer: Yes, it was on a Thursday. It is later discovered that your lunch was held on a Wednesday. YOU LIED TO THE FBI!
What truly bothers me about this entire petty scharade of a trial is that Fitzpatrick already knew before he even called Libby to testify before the Grand Jury that it was Armitage who had leaked to Novak and other reporters the fact that Plame worked for the CIA. Armitage had already gone to DOJ and confessed to it!
Armitage was handed to Fitzpatrick on a silver platter. And, Fitzpatrick aleady knew before he called Libby to testify before the Grand Jury that Plame was not a covert agent. So why call Libby in??
Fitzgerald knew that Plame wasn't an agent and if she was, he would go after Armitage and nail him! But she wasn't ........ so he didn't. Instead he goes 'fishing' for a crime and Scooter slips and gives Fitzgerald the scalp he was looking for.

HERE THEY GO!

Just as I predicted back in January 3 of this year http://thenorthlot.blogspot.com/2007/01/ms-pelosi.html the Democrats are starting to wallpaper the White House with subpoenas.

NEWSFLASH:
There are consequences to losing elections.

ALTHOUGH I'M NOT A BUSH FAN.........

I found this interesting, seeing how houses have been a big, BIG, BIG topic lately.

The 4,000-square-foot house is a model of environmental rectitude.
Geothermal heat pumps located in a central closet circulate water through pipes buried 300 feet deep in the ground where the temperature is a constant 67 degrees; the water heats the house in the winter and cools it in the summer. Systems such as the one in this "eco-friendly" dwelling use about 25% of the electricity that traditional heating and cooling systems utilize.
A 25,000-gallon underground cistern collects rainwater gathered from roof runs; wastewater from sinks, toilets and showers goes into underground purifying tanks and is also funneled into the cistern. The water from the cistern is used to irrigate the landscaping surrounding the four-bedroom home. Plants and flowers native to the high prairie area blend the structure into the surrounding ecosystem.
No, this is not the home of some eccentrically wealthy eco-freak trying to shame his fellow citizens into following the pristineness of his self-righteous example. And no, it is not the wilderness retreat of the Sierra Club or the Natural Resources Defense Council, a haven where tree-huggers plot political strategy.
This is President George W. Bush's "Texas White House" outside the small town of Crawford.
I though it appropriate to post this in "green"
